The Australian Motorcycle Grand Prix has released its 2019 campaign, Journey to the Edge, which draws on the experience of fans to promote the 2019 event.
The eight-part web series chronicles the annual pilgrimage of a bunch of die-hard fans from across Australia to Phillip Island for the attend the Australian Motorcycle Grand Prix. The webisodes also feature motorcycle legends such as Mick Doohan, Wayne Gardner and current MotoGP hotshot Jack Miller.
The Australian Grand Prix Corporation’s Arthur Gillion says there are no better advocates for this event than the fans.
“We’re excited to launch Journey to the Edge, an eight-part miniseries using authentic fan experiences to tell the exciting story of 14 fans and their journey to the Australian Motorcycle Grand Prix in Phillip Island and their experience over the three event days,” he said. “This content will give a unique insight into the event from fans’ perspectives, highlighting the excitement of the sport, the incredible event atmosphere and the stunning scenery and experiences fans can have along the journey, all which makes the whole experience so unique.”
