Suzuki’s Hayabusa has become somewhat of an icon of the brand since it was first released as a 1999 model almost 25 years ago, and to celebrate Hayabusa’s quarter-century milestone Suzuki has announced the release of a special edition version of its iconic sports machine.

The 25th Anniversary model will join Suzuki’s model line-up in 2024 with the bling-laden Hayabusa carrying a ride-away price of $28,990 – $1200 more than the current 2023 model.

For the extra dollars, you get a bunch of cosmetic additions such as the one-off Glass Blaze Orange / Glass Sparkle Black paintwork,  a 25th-anniversary glass enamel emblem on the fuel tank and special-edition 3D style tank stickers, Hayabusa Kanji logo on the drive chain, gold anodised brake rotor carriers and chain adjuster blocks, 25th-anniversary logo on the muffler and a single seat cowl.

The Anniversary model’s upgrades are purely cosmetic and mechanically, the Hayabusa remains unchanged for 2024.

If you’re in the market for a new Hayabusa and the 25th-anniversary model doesn’t blow your hair back then you might want to pick yourself up a 2023 model as the anniversary model will be the only option available for 2024.

Stock of the 25th anniversary Hayabusa is expected to arrive on showroom floors in the first quarter of 2024.
