MV Agusta’s association with F1 champion Lewis Hamilton has produced a third limited-edition model. The Brutale 800 RR LH44 follows the original Dragster 800 RR LH44 and the F4 LH44, both kings of MV bling.
As the name suggests, the latest model is based on the Brutale 800 RR. That means you get a 104kW triple in a 172kg package, complete with a counter-rotating crankshaft – yes, like a Panigale V4 – and a quickshifter.
The LH44 version will be limited to just 144 numbered examples and has the same black, red and white paint scheme as previous Lewis Hamilton models. It also gets extra carbon fibre, a ceramic-coated exhaust and CNC machined parts.
Meanwhile MV is preparing to launch its first all-new production model in years. Due later this year, it will be a new four-cylinder platform, including a completely redesigned Euro 4-compliant engine.
A new four-cylinder Brutale will be the first to get the engine. Given MV’s history, it’s likely to be spectacular.
