Previously known as Causeway Kawasaki, the spritely dealership has a fresh outlook and keyed in focus on customer experience across the complete Kawasaki product range.

Dealer Principal, Mark Daviot added Perth Kawasaki to his existing portfolio consisting of both the Wangara and Midland based Mack 1 Motorcycles dealerships. Having received immense support from the local motorcycling community and neighbouring businesses since opening earlier this year, Mark is expecting Perth Kawasaki to continue on an upward trajectory, saying, “The store has been going extremely well so far. We have a fresh look, fresh staff and our major focus is customer service along with resurrecting our workshop that was closed for around a year and a half under previous management.”

“We want to deliver the quality service that customers expect from a Kawasaki dealership.”

An engineer by trade and a passionate motorcycling enthusiast, Mark opened his first Kawasaki dealership in 2007 with Mack 1 Motorcycles in Midland and then received the opportunity to expand with Mack 1 Moorcycles Wangara, which was an all-new store.

“Looking back, we really enjoyed working on the Mack 1 Midland store and building a customer base in Wangara, which was a new area to enter for Kawasaki,” Mark commented.

“I believe that Victoria Park, where the new store is located, is the pinnacle of motorcycling in Western Australia, so we couldn’t pass the opportunity to operate a premium Kawasaki store here. This was the original Kawasaki store in WA, with a lot of heritage. The store has been around my whole life so there was definitely a drive to keep the dealership going, not only from a business point of view but a heritage and passion perspective as well.”

“The staff here are on-board with our vision and they are very positive about the move, so it wasn’t only my decision, it was a joint decision and it was a ‘no brainer’, to take the store on! I’ve always worked within the business and developed it with the staff so it is a group effort and we are all quite involved.”

Perth Kawasaki is qualified as a premium Ninja H2 & H2R dealership. Being adorned in this way enables the store to sell and service cutting edge supercharged Kawasaki models, reflecting their high level of technical capacity. Head Technician, Luke Howard, brings with him over 7 years of Kawasaki experience and a strong following from customers who trust his work, according to Mark.

Luke Howard, is also one of the store’s supported Supermotard racers. He does not own a car and he rides to work every day, saying, “Bikes are my life. I like them and I like them to work properly.”

When asked about his approach to customers, Luke Howard said, “I think it’s important to spend time with the customer and explain things. I like to give a bike back to a customer that will feel different to when it was brought in, for the better.”

“We have handled plenty of performance projects and we aren’t new to smash repairs so we are basically a one-stop-shop. Our attention to detail and thoroughness is something that we take pride in here,” commented Luke Howard, who has seen has seen a strong pickup in business and plenty of traffic since they opened, indicating to him that the workshop is moving in a positive direction.
