The long-awaited parallel twin Honda CBR250RR is on the verge of an official unveiling and Honda has released a pair of teaser videos to prove it.
The first gives a glimpse of the bike, confirming its “250RR” name and showing that it looks near-identical to the Light Weight Super Sport concept machine revealed at last year’s Tokyo Motor Show.
Another video appears to give a brief sound clip of the bike accelerating on a dyno, although this one has yet to appear on an official Honda YouTube channel yet.
What’s clear is that the firm is focussing on the Indonesian market initially. That’s where the bike will be built, and where the majority of sales are expected. A second version, believed to be bored and stroked to nearer 350cc, is expected be offered in other markets including Australia, Europe and America.
