Honda’s Africa Twin has already chiselled out a niche in the adventure segment, and for 2018 there’s a tougher version in the form of the Adventure Sports.
Stemming from the Adventure Sports concept bike shown a couple of years ago, it’s a clearer nod to the 1980s Africa Twin, with a restyled tail that mimics the original, a flatter seat and a bigger, chunkier fuel tank that increases range to over 500km. It also has increased ride height and longer suspension travel, a bashplate and engine guards. The changes add 11kg (243kg with manual transmission, 253kg with DCT) over the stock Africa Twin.
