1981 Suzuki GSX1100E

He says

Just wanted to send in some pics of an ongoing project I’ve had over the past seven years! I’ve never had an opportunity to just throw money at it and get it done, hence the long build time. It was originally a GSX1100E with the frame modified to accept GSX1100SZ Katana bodywork. It’s now got forks from the XR69 Cam Donald-run Manta bike, fork brace, polished 1200 Bandit swingarm, fibreglass by Dale Gilbert, CR Carbs, Dyna 2000 ignition, flywheel removed, custom harness, SV650 wheels, 520 chain conversion, billet rearsets, triple trees, steering damper, Brembo F08 calipers, Wilbers rear shocks, Earl’s oil cooler, custom headers with Tingate muffler, Woodcraft clip-ons, and many many more custom parts.

It hit the track for the first time last summer and was a blast – hope you like it.

We say

Nevermind the time it took mate, you’ve created a masterpiece. Hope to see you showing it off at the Island Classic in January.

Congratulations Shane, you’ve scored a Mini Road Chain Lube ($12.90) and a Mini Chain Clean ($11.90) kindly supplied by Link International.
