Ducati Australia & New Zealand has announced the arrival of the SuperSport 950 in Australia and New Zealand. The SuperSport 950 scores a redesigned fairing that is reminiscent of the Panigale V4.
Powered by a 937cc Testastretta 11° twin-cylinder engine, the SuperSport 950 has been revised to comply with Euro 5 emissions standards. It is equipped with electronic controls fed information from a Bosch six-axis inertial platform that detects the bike’s roll, yaw, and pitch angles in space. The innovative electronics package consists Bosch Cornering ABS, Ducati Traction Control (DTC) EVO, Ducati Quick Shift (DQS) Up /Down EVO and Ducati Wheelie Control (DWC) EVO, all controllable via a menu on the 4.3-inch TFT display.
The SuperSport 950 features Sport, Touring and Urban riding modes that tailor the bike to suit the rider’s style and environmental conditions.
The SuperSport 950 range also includes the 950 S version, equipped with fully adjustable Öhlins suspension and pillion-seat cover.
Ducati says the updates make the SuperSport 950 “sportier in appearance, more fun to ride and even easier, safer, and more comfortable thanks to a richer standard equipment”.
In Australia the SuperSport 950 starts at $19,390 ride-away whilst in New Zealand the suggested retail price starts from $20,229.
AMCN will bring you a full test as soon as we can get our hands on the bike.
