Sandro Cortese (Kallio Racing Yamaha) make his mark at Brno with the third Superpole win of his short WorldSSP career, taking the best start possible for Sunday’s race.
Joining the German rider on the front row will be second place Swiss, Randy Krummenacher (BARDAHL Evan Bros. WorldSSP Yamaha) and Frances’s Jules Cluzel (NRT Yamaha) in third.
Raffaele De Rosa (MV Agusta Reparto Corse by Vamag) once again broke up the Yamaha dominance, in fourth place, with the GRT Yamaha duo of Lucas Mahias and Federico Caricasulo just behind him.
Ayrton Badovini (MV Agusta Reparto Corse by Vamag) was fully 1.505 seconds from pole in seventh, and the top Kawasaki rider was Anthony West (EAB antwest Racing Kawasaki) in eighth place. On a the more official ZX-6R machine, Sheridan Morais (Kawasaki Puccetti Racing) was ninth and Cluzel’s NRT Yamaha team-mate, Thomas Gradinger rounded out the top ten.
Kyle Smith (CIA Landlord Insurance Honda) was 11th, Luke Stapleford 23rd.
