To celebrate 30 years since Aprilia’s first world title, the Italian manufacturer has created 100 units of this serious, yet beautiful racing machine, the Aprilia RSV4 Xtrenta.
Aprilia has produced X variant models before with the RSV4 X and the Tuono X in 2019, however this limited edition Xtrenta model is on another level.
The Aprilia RSV4 Xtrenta has a claimed weight of just 166kg and a 230hp engine. This combined with it’s racing aerodynamics and electronics makes it a very serious piece of machinery for on-track fun.
Produced by the Noale Racing Department, the Xtrenta combines materials, components, electronics and aerodynamic technologies close to those used in the MotoGP Aprilia RS-GP.
Aerodynamics
The carbon fairing is made using the same processes in MotoGP and incorporates front wings, and the brand-new rear wings, on the tail. This is also the first bike to mount the ‘under wing’ on the swingarm, (commonly called the ‘spoon’ in MotoGP) resulting in a claimed aerodynamic load increases by 25 per cent, while reducing drag by four per cent.
Engine
An increase in compression and custom titanium and carbon exhaust bring the current RSV4 Factory engine to a peak of 230 horsepower. A full-titanium MotoGP derived silencer is available as an option.
Electronics
The electronics is controlled by a JetPrime racing panel via a re-calibrated Magneti Marelli control unit.
Suspension
Ohlins is the chosen suspension, modified by Andreani in collaboration with Aprilia MotoGP engineers.
Stopping power is courtesy of Brembo GP4-MS calipers with 330mm discs mounted on magnesium Marchesini rims wrapped in Pirelli Diablo slicks.
Availability and price
Each of the 100 units of the Aprilia RSV4 XTrenta, will be available to order from September 6, by visiting factoryworks.aprilia.com
The estimated price for each unit is $73,000 AUS excluding tax
The RSV4 XTrenta is part of the Factory Works programme made for those who wish to compete in the production championships or wish to source a race spec RSV4 or Tuono V4.
