Harley-Davidson has announced that its new X350 and X500 LAMS-compliant motorcycles are now available at dealers across Australia and New Zealand following the models’ initial unveiling in September 2023.
Harley-Davidson says the new X350 and X500 models, designed in Milwaukee and taking their styling cues from some of the Motor Company’s most iconic models, provide an opportunity for new and returning riders alike to score a ride on the world’s most iconic motorcycle brand.
Both the X350 and X500 models have been developed in conjunction with Chinese manufacturer QJ Motor, which owns numerous brands including Benelli. While the X350 is an all-new model, the X500 has a lot in common with the Benelli Leoncino 500, but is obviously restyled and heavily branded as a Harley-Davidson.
Both X models represent a departure from Harley-Davidson’s traditional V-twin layout in that they are parallel twins with a 270° crank but despite this there is little doubt that the X models will rank amongst the best-selling bikes in Harley-Davidson’s line-up.
“We’re happy to bring the lightweight yet high-performance Harley-Davidson X350 and X500 to market that bears all the hallmarks of the Harley-Davidson brand and allows more people than ever before to swing a leg over a Harley-Davidson motorcycle,” said Nigel Keough, Managing Director for Harley-Davidson Australia and New Zealand.
The X350 will be available at authorised Harley-Davidson dealerships with an Australian ride away price of $8495 in Dramatic Black, Dynamic Orange, Supersonic Silver and Pearl White. At the same time, the X500 will be available with an Australian ride away price of $11,495 in Dramatic Black, Dynamic Orange, Supersonic Silver and Pearl White.
As you would expect of Harley-Davidson, a collection of Harley-Davidson X apparel is also now available to allow riders to personalise their look on and off the motorcycle. If you want to try an X model for yourself, you can book a test ride by calling your nearest Harley-Davidson dealership.
