Harley-Davidson will launch its new single-cylinder LAMS-compliant X350 and X500 models in Australia in December 2023, the company’s 120th year.
The Harley-Davidson X350 will retail for a competitive $8495 ride away and the X500 for $11,495 ride away.
Both the X350 and the X500 are powered by DOHC 4-valve liquid-cooled parallel twins mated to a six-speed transmission. In the case of the X350 that twin has a 353cc capacity while the X500 has a 500cc capacity.
Both machines run 17-inch wheels front and rear and Maxxis Supermaxx ST tyres – a 120/70ZR17 up front and a 160/60ZR17 down the back.
Other similarities between the two models include fitment of dual front disc brakes and a single rear disc brake, monoshock rear suspension, mid-foot controls, and a low-rise handlebar, putting the rider in a centred, comfortable posture on the bike.
While the X350 has a 41mm USD fork, the X500 gets a beefed-up 50mm USD fork. Both have low and accessible seat heights; 777mm for the X350 and 820mm for the X500.
Both will be available in Dramatic Black, Dynamic Orange, Supersonic Silver and Pearl White colour schemes.
“The Harley-Davidson X350 and Harley-Davidson X500 join the existing lineup as brand-new instruments of exploration designed to navigate the urban grid with agility,” Nigel Keough, Managing Director for Harley-Davidson Australia and New Zealand says. “Both motorcycle models are tailored for adventurous riders – new and existing – who are focused on style, performance, and accessibility to the brand.”
As you would expect, a collection of Harley-Davidson X apparel will also available to allow riders to personalise their look on and off the motorcycle.
