The long-term effort put into the design and development of the Hunter 350 has resulted in a motorcycle Royal Enfield believes will look as good in 10 years’ time as it does now.
THE ENGINE
The powerplant of the Hunter 350 is the J series air-oil cooled 349cc SOHC long-stroke engine, which has been designed to deliver smooth power delivery and strong bottom-end torque. It sounds old school but it’s equipped with modern electronic fuel injection and is Euro 5 compliant. The engine develops a claimed 20.2hp (15kW) of power at 6100rpm and 27Nm of torque at 4000rpm.
Our man Hamish Cooper attended the world launch in Bangkok, Thailand last week, and his full report on the Hunter 350 will feature in the next issue of AMCN (Vol 72 No 04) which will hit newsstands next Thursday 18 August.
