Available to the general public for the very first time, the Gardner Club is now available at one of the most exciting events on the sporting calendar – the Pramac Generac Australian Motorcycle Grand Prix 2019, from 25–27 October.
Named after the one-time apprentice steelworker from Wollongong who became Australia’s first 500cc motorcycle world champion in 1987, the new Gardner Club offers unrivalled track viewing and VIP comfort.
The Aussie great was instrumental in bringing the Australian Motorcycle Grand Prix to Australia, capping the dream by winning the inaugural race at Phillip Island 30 years ago this year.
With an outdoor viewing area, fans at Gardner Club can take in the awesome spectacle of 340kph speeds and slipstreaming from close range or enjoy a breathtaking sky view from a grandstand seat overlooking more than half the circuit.
Wayne Gardner is looking forward to seeing Gardner Club come to life and will be seen there cheering on his son Remy Gardner, competing in the Moto2 category, throughout the weekend.
“It is such nice surprise to have this club named after me on the 30-year anniversary of my win at Phillip Island, complete with its own grandstand, there is no better way to watch the race,” said Gardner. “I’m looking forward to watching my son, Remy, and fellow Aussie, Jack Miller, race on this amazing circuit, and enjoy all the hospitality Gardner Club has on offer.”
