I have worn the same brand of textile jacket since the day I started as a junior at Gassit HQ, because I had no need to change.
The recent Australian release by Link International of Macna’s 2018 Graphite range piqued my interest, so I have fitted myself up with a Macna Command Plus jacket for a winter test.
The Command Plus is a shorter, classic style with a tough waterproof Poly-Twill Nylon outer and zip-in thermal liner to keep me toasty.
Additional protection comes with CE-approved shoulder and elbow armour, as well as a CE-approved back protector.
I went for an XXL size, instead of my usual XL, and it fits perfectly for arm length without being too bulky in
the body.
I’ve already given the jacket a run in wet, windy and sunny conditions and it has passed with flying colours.
It will now be interesting to see how my new jacket handles the mid-winter test.
