It uses a Euro-4 compliant 292cc single which, thanks to real-time 3D fuel and ignition mapping, is hugely fuel efficient according to Yamaha.
It doesn’t say anything about power or torque outputs, but if you’re after a frugal 300cc scoot we guess they’re not a priority.
It does boast traction control, ABS and employs a keyless ignition system.
The under-seat storage bin will take a couple of full-face lids.
It’s low and light with a seat height of 795mm and it weighs 179kg fully fuelled and ready to go. It’s available in Quasar Bronze or Lunar Grey and it’ll set you back $6999 (plus on-road costs).
