Zero motorcycles has announced it will withdraw from the Australian and Asia-Pacific markets, saying despite its best efforts, it failed to build an economically sustainable business.
“Unfortunately, the costs of providing an exceptional customer experience coupled with unfavourable exchange rates and taxes in these markets makes it difficult to offer competitive pricing today,” a statement read.
The company will continue supplying police and authority fleets in the region, and said its current importer, GBT Imports, will continue to support owners of the emission-free motorcycles.
